Bruce Ryan

 Bruce Ryan is known by his fellow musicians as a professional quality rock and roll drummer, who is an innovative improviser with a strict sense of timing. The larger than life drummer Peter Criss of KISS was his first inspiration to start playing drums. Grade school band classes were his introduction to musical studies. His percussion education continued through high school in orchestra classes and marching band. Drummers Neil Peart, Alex Van Halen, Mitch Mitchell, Nikko McBrain, and Tommy Aldridge have all had an abundance of influence on his drumming style.

 During the 80’s and 90’s, Bruce performed and recorded with many bands in the local Detroit area music scene. He currently resides in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area. Since relocating to the lone star state, he has continued to refine his rhythmic skills and has performed with artists such as guitar virtuoso Victor Gann.
